sooo i figured i could make a drunken live journal post right now woooo

i'm back to my whiskey and i am absolutely not drining any franz this weekend so that means i am not going to throw up which is awesomeeee

we went playing in the snowwww and it was awesomeeee and there's lots of snow on the ground and it just started snowing yeterday :)

and we went ice skating today and that was a lote of funnnn

Pretty sure that my roommates and I are playing the Twilight drinking game tonight. This will be epic....I'll edit later to let you know how it goes.

Yes, a completely epic night. We decided to revise the game to taking small-ish drinks instead of shots....otherwise we would have been FUCKED UP lol. So, we drank every time:

-Bella blinked too much
-Bella played with her hair
-Edward looked at Bella with disgust
-There was obvious sexual tension
-The Indians were mentioned and/or seen
-Edward saved Bella
-Charlie and Bella talked about Edward
-Jasper looked constipated
-Carlisle was a DILF
-Rosalie was a bitch
-The vampires acted like real vampires
-There was slow motion with piano music in the background
-Mike Newton hit on Bella

Then we took gulps when Edward sparkled, and when we saw the biology jizz-in-my-pants scene.

Yeahhh, it was pretty awesome. It basically deteriorated to me trying to whisper in Jacqui's ear, "The hunt is his obsession, he's never gonna stop!" Lmfao.

Then we decided that we didn't just want to be drunk and sitting in our room, so we decided to wander over to Wannex and visit M, Alicia, and Amanda, since they were all stuck staying in for a No Boys, No Booze sorority type thing. They thought we were pretty hilarious I guess, since we just kept quoting the movie in a drunken fashion. Andddd, now I know that I'll never be able to watch Twilight again without being drunk. Damn.

So I guess I could make an actual journal entry about something...we all went down to run-out yesterday morning, since a couple of our friends went through informal recruitment. Jodi is officially a tri-delt, and Libby went theta. And during run-out, when the AXO girls were running out of Brooks, some girl fell and cracked her head open. Which kind of put a damper on the festivities. Apparently she's fine, but they had to bring an ambulance and everything. :\ But a lot of the girls think it's karma, because apparently she was a real bitch to everyone...

My classes are all going pretty well, except for my fucking English class. I hate it so much, and if I could still reasonably drop a class and pick up a new one, I totally would. :\

They finally posted the EL trips for this upcoming summer, and I would love love love to go on the Ukraine trip. I'm not even a history major, but it sounds fucking awesome. My parents said they would pay for most of it, but then I wouldn't be able to go on vacation with them this summer. Fine by me! So I'm seriously putting some thought into this trip. I mean, the only time I've been out of the country is to go to Mexico or Canada, which in my opinion doesn't really count, because they're still connected to our country lol.

The new episode of Bones was AWESOME. And so was The Office - "Parkour, parkour!!" Plus, we have this thing with the guys up in Crawford now, where we're up there all the time watching Sunny in Philadelphia. It's a bitch walk to get up there, but I seriously love those guys to death. Good times, good times....

So I had pretty much worst day of my life yesterday lol. Let me tell you my tragic story.

Okay I need to move back to school NOW. I cannot stand being at home anymore what with my mom and brother being incredibly aggravating. :\

IN OTHER NEWS HARRY POTTER COMES OUT IN THREE DAYS WOOOOOOOO. not that I'm excited or anything haha. Seeing it in theaters twice that I know of: the first time at midnight with some awesome friends, where I apparently have to wear a Slytherin sweater, because I have no HP apparel of my own, and then the second time down at the waterfront theater with my Allegheny friends that live in and around Pittsburgh. :) I'm super excited, and I guess we're going to Eat n Park beforehand, because they have a lot of gluten-free options for Jacqui. Then after the movie I think Jax might be following me home, staying the night, and hanging out for the weekend, which would be FREAKIN awesome. I want everyone to meet her!

oh dear. as we're out in my yard today cutting down this dead tree, i happen to look down into my neighbors yard. they're down there, playing cornhole using beer bottles instead of bean bags. WHAT. who would ever think of doing that?! it was just the epitome of white trash lmao...

hahahhahahaha yes. there is actually a porn star out there with the name Lacey Love, so thanks a lot mom and dad! that's what happens when you try to google your name as a child. :\ she's actually one of a pair of twins that does porn movies together.

Goddamnit, how am I getting sucked back into the fanfic community again? Lmao. Now that I've actually been finding good stories, it's so much easier for me to like the characters from Twilight. I've been wracking my brain for the password to my home computer, because I know that I bookmarked quite a lot of good fic. Ughhh.

woooo i finally caught up on the episode of Lost from last week. fucking A!

i actually understood most of the episode, which is a rare occurrence these days when i watch Lost.

i lovelovelove sawyer and juliet together, and i really hope kate and jack don't fuck this shit up. i like them as a couple wayyy more than i ever liked sawyer and kate or jack and juliet. i feel like they complement each other or something, i don't know...

as i was watching this ep, i kept laughing out loud, like when Jin tells Sawyer that they found Sayid, and he just goes, "son of a bitch!" i just started cracking up, and i kept laughing any time they found a new Oceanic 6 person...

so all in all, it was a good episode!!

Finally back from my New York trip with Jacqui, which was a complete blast! It was so awesome.

Saturday: we left jacqui's house bright and early and set out on our journey....six hours on the turnpike later, we make it to princeton junction train station. of course, the gps only led us astray once, where we ended up in the ghettos of Trenton for ten minutes. so we get on the train, and get off at Newark Penn Station. nope, it was supposed to be New York Penn Station, but we only realized that after wandering around for twenty minutes looking for Jacqui's sister lol. so we get back on a train, finally make it to New York, and then we subway it back to Tanya's apartment. we basically just chilled for the rest of the night, watching Jon and Kate +8 and Iron Chef lmfao.

Sunday: Tawn walked us around the city, so we could get acquainted with the subways and such for when we were on our own. we ate brunch at Peter's, which had a lot of gluten-free options, so Jacqui got to have french toast. we stopped by central park, union square, st. mark's place, etc etc. we then went to tawn's friend amanda's studio on the upper west side, which was also really nice.

Monday: Jacqui and i get up and head out to the city by ourselves. we take the subway to one of the corners of central park, and then head into the park so we can strawberry fields and the boathouse. after the park, we start to take our 5th avenue stroll, down to madison avenue where tanya works. ironically enough, the majority of pictures i took this day were from FAO Schwartz, while we played with the giant stuffed animals lol. we then eventually made it 30+ blocks down to madison, where we visited tanya at work. she works for a company that basically publishes the kind of smut and harlequin romance novels that my mom reads lol. then we went to lilli and loo for dinner, where i tried sushi for the first time!

Tuesday: this was the day we took the subway all the way down to canal street. AWESOME. i got a scarf, perfume, etc etc. good deals. then we walked over to Babycakes, which was a GF bakery, and then we just kind of wandered through Soho for a while. made it to s'mac, for some gourmet mac and cheese, which was delicious. then we wandered up to washington square park, where jacqui visited the NYU bookstore, and we just sat and rested for a while. met up with tanya, and walked over to a GF risotto restaurant, which was also delish.

Wednesday: Tawn took off work and we went to the Met together for a good three hours, then walked back to Peter's for lunch. we had some more good food, then walked to Pinkberry for frozen yogurt, and hustled to central park so we could eat our yogurt there before it melted. we sat and read in the park for an hour and a half or so, listening to conversations, and watching tanya trying to get the little children to befriend her. then we walked to union square park, got dinner at whole foods, and met amanda in chelsea for the chuck klosterman show, which was HYSTERICAL. so funny.

Thursday: another uneventful drive back to jacqui's

well apparently i was born in the year of the horse. i dunno, a lot of that doesn't really sound like me. "shines when in the center of attention" NO. i hate being in the spotlight lol. but i guess all these traits that it's telling me match up with my regular horoscope - Leo. Huh. It does say that i'm very intelligent though. true that!! a bit too centered on myself, and prone to throw tantrums, yeah, that sounds about right. i feel ill when trapped inside, yeah, i guess that's true. and it did have my future career choice! librarian. because i like interacting with people, but i shouldn't want something too monotonous, and i'm not fond of taking orders.

except for the fact that two different people called me the wrong name. so first my mom's cousin howard walks by me, and he's like, "oh hey Shelley!" and i was all ".......my name's lacey" and then he starts calling me stacey!! i was like, okay whatever, i'm just going to let that one go... so then my dad rescued me, and my mom's cousin nancy walks by, and is like, "oh, shelley, you're going to have to tell me all about allegheny college!" so i was like, WHAT THE FUCK PEOPLE. I'VE BEEN AROUND FOR EIGHTEEN YEARS, WHAT IS THE MATTER HERE.

i mean, i suppose i could see the connection, seeing that me and shelley are cousins, and we're both pale with dark hair, but honestly that's the most connection i can make.

and tbqh, my mom can remember all of howard and nancy's kids names, so why can't they remember mine???
